Description
Done in 0.5 mechanical pencil & enhanced on the computer so that you can see the lines clearly. As per usual, I tend to take a sketch like this straight to completion, starting at one area (probably the eye) and working my way out and around it - starting off lightly on the shading, and just continuously layering darker until it's done. Because of that method, I personally don't tend to use my eraser much.
Anyways, with that out of the way, here is probably my one and only animal picture you'll ever get to see (unless I draw a new one of course ^_^). Drawn from a painting or a photograph (I can't remember which) that I found in a calendar, for no particular reason aside from the fact that I love horses....There's been inches cut off on all sides, but what can you do when the pic's too big for the scanner?
Wow this horse is so cute and beautiful at the same time!!I love the shading and the sorta curious look on his/her face!!! I wish my horse drawing would reach this level! But I'll keep trying and maybe someday I'll be half as good as you! I think you deserve a watch and maybe a llama while Im at it?! I love your sketches so much!! I would love to see more of your beautiful work, I am sure I'll enjoy it all!!
Do you ride? If so English or western and do you perform in shows? I ride mostly English but a bit of western too! I have only been riding for 4 years but I hope to start jumping soon!!
This drawing reminds me of this little pony I ride her name is Hollywood but its Holly for short!!
Is drawing your profession or is it just a hobby that your incredibly talented at? oh and by the way I think this does belong in your gallery for sure its too beautiful for scraps!!!
I think you deserve a watch and maybe a llama while Im at it?! I love your sketches so much!!
